At the beginning it was published by the Institute of Zoology PAS in Warsaw, but from 1958 by the Mammal Research Institute PAS in Bia\u0142owie\u017ca. During 60 years, <em>Acta Theriologica<\/em> communicated over 2500 articles, including original papers, short notes and book reviews. From this year onwards the journal will be published under new name &#8211; <em>Mammal Research<\/em>.
