A chapter devoted to moose by a team of researchers from MRI PAS (M. Niedzia\u0142kowska, M. Ko\u0142odziej-Soboci\u0144ska, T. Borowik) and from Sweden and Norway was published in the series \u201cHandbook of the Mammals of Europe\u201d. The chapter is a comprehensive summary of state-of-art knowledge on this species, including its taxonomy, geographic range, habitat, diet and behaviour, to the conservation status and threats to the species. It is another, after bats and European bison, chapter in this series prepared by researchers from MRI PAS.<\/div>\n
