During the 72 years of its existence, Mammal Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences has been the source of many discoveries that have influenced the development of science in national and global scale. The practical applications of results of MRI PAS research can be seen today in various areas of life. The most important achievements of the Institute are the subject of a series of ten short films, prepared as part of the project “Białowieża Discoveries – Popularisation of the Research of Mammal Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences”, funded by the Ministry of Education and Science under the Social Responsibility of Science Programme (Agreement No. SONP/SP/513765/2021).
