The Atlas of European Mammals has been published, featuring chapters on the European bison and the European badgerwritten by Prof. Rafał Kowalczyk of the Mammal Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences and co-authored by Dr Laurent Schley.

The atlas presents distribution maps and key information on all mammal species found in Europe. The previous edition was published in 1999, making the new atlas a valuable resource for tracking changes in species distributions across the continent over the past few decades.
