The National Science Centre has just announced the results of the OPUS 30 and SONATA 21 funding calls! We are thrilled to share that two projects submitted by researchers from the Mammal Research Institute PAS have received funding! 🦌🦣

Congratulations to the grant winners:

🔹 OPUS 30 call: Dr. hab. Magdalena Niedziałkowska for the project: “Changes in the range, genetic diversity and habitats of occurrence of two roe deer species in Europe from the last glaciation to modern times”.

🔹 SONATA 21 call: Dr. Emilia Hofman-Kamińska for the project: “Influence of climate-environmental change and human hunting on the body size of large European herbivores in the Late Pleistocene and Holocene”.
