We are pleased to announce that the Mammal Research Institute has signed an agreement with the Springer publishing company, concerning publishing of our scientific journal Acta Theriologica.  Thanks to the cooperation, our journal will have a new cover, layout, new editorial tools and a home page on Springer.com. The on-line content of Acta Theriologica will be available on SpringerLink.com – one of the leading internet science portals with more than 4.7 million documents and 165 million full text downloads in 2009. This will make the journal accessible to the scientists and students in all major scientific centres of the World. There are some organisational changes planned too, including expansion and internationalisation of the editiorial board. Since August 2010 we plan to start using Editorial Manager – Springer software for electronic submission of manuscripts. We hope that these new exciting opportunities will significantly improve an international recognition and impact of Acta Theriologica. The first issue of the journal prepared in cooperation with Springer will be published in January 2011.
