Research profile

The goal of my research is to understand how stress induced by predation risk impacts the biogeochemical composition in an environment and how these changes alter the ecosystem and its functioning.

For this research I would be investigating carbon and nitrogen ratio in plant species consumed by ungulates, plant communities, litter and soil and ungulate urine nitrogen content (elemental analyses), fibre fractions and crude protein content in plants and ungulate faeces (near-infrared spectrometric analyses) and  ungulate behaviour (video-recording).

My other research interests is in studying animal personality, analyzing satellite telemetry data, learning and incorporating several different statistical methods for my research in R and Python.
