Group description
The thematic scope of research conducted by the Biogeography Group continues the work carried out in previous years by the Department of Biogeography and will cover two main areas:
- The impact of global environmental changes on the distribution, ecology, and genetic diversity of various mammal species at local, regional, and continental scales, from the Late Pleistocene to the present;
- 2. The impact of various species of mammals and birds, as well as their interactions, on ecological processes occurring in their habitats and feeding grounds across different spatial and temporal scales.
