We are pleased to inform that during the last contest for research grants organised by the Polish Ministry for Science and Higher Education four research projects of MRI PAS researchers were chosen for financing. These are:

1. Genetic analysis of the European bison population from the Belarussian part of the Białowieża Forest (project leader: Dr. Małgorzata Tokarska)
2. Institutional dynamics of nature conservation policy in Poland (project leader: Krzysztof Niedziałkowski)
3. The influence of ecological factors on the genetic diversity of the jaguar Panther onca in Venesuela (project leader: Prof. dr habil. Włodzimierz Jędrzejewski)
4. The influence of changes of the level of inorganic substances on the population dynamics of the root vole Microtus oeconomus (project leader: Monika Wieczorek).
