Mammal Research Institute increases its research range. Following large scale investigations into wolf and moose genetics in Europe and part of Asia, a new project is being developed in South America. Prof. Włodzimierz Jędrzejewski is currently on a research visit to Venezuela, where, in cooperation with  Instituto Venezolano de Investigaciones Cientificas, Caracas, Venezuela (IVIC), he prepares a new research project on tropical fauna. Among other methods, the project will use infrared cameras for monitoring of animals. Below you can watch a short video from a pilot study plot.
