Group description

 Research themes & focus:

We focus on interactions between species across different trophic levels including herbivore-plant interactions, predator-prey interactions, and how disease dynamics and parasites modify these interactions. There is no focus on specific species but the processes behind the interactions is what binds us. As these trophic interactions take place in an increasingly human-dominated environment, how human activities affect or modify these trophic interactions is an important over-arching theme in all our studies. To study these interactions on a landscape-scale or fine-scale we use a variety of techniques including observational studies (especially camera trap studies) and a strong emphasis on experimental studies.
