Pasjonuję się (nowymi/innowacyjnymi) metodami badań terenowych, partnerstwami na rzecz ochrony przyrody, podejściem „One Health”, nauką obywatelską, a także wspieraniem i promocją kobiet w nauce.

Celem była ocena skutków ekologicznych (np. hałas, rośliny obce i inwazyjne) i konsekwencji dla zwierząt (aktywność, interakcje z ludźmi). Finansowanie: NAWA Urgency Grant
- 2018–2020 – Fenologia linienia kozic śnieżnych. Projekt oparty na nauce obywatelskiej dokumentujący zrzucanie zimowej sierści w zależności od wysokości (elevation) i szerokości geograficznej (latitude) (Kolorado–Alaska–Jukon). Wykorzystano fotopułapki i zdjęcia z iNaturalist oraz inne narzędzia nauki obywatelskiej. Finansowanie: Wildlife Conservation Society, U.S. National Park Service, The Safina Center
- 2013–2017 – Ryzyko, strach i procesy poznawcze u koczkodanów samango. Eksperymenty terenowe w dwóch lasach afromontańskich w RPA, badające reakcje małp na drapieżniki i ludzi (w tym badaczy) oraz porównujące krajobrazy strachu w rezerwacie prywatnym i państwowym. Finansowanie: EU COFUND, Claude Leon Foundation, Primate Conservation Inc.
- 2008–2014 – Słonie sawannowe w lasach gór Udzungwa (Tanzania). Monitoring populacji słoni, prace nad ograniczaniem konfliktów człowiek–słoń (m.in. ogrodzenia z uli), i rozwój lokalnych kompetencji ochroniarskich. Finansowanie: U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service African Elephant Conservation Fund
- 2002–2007 – Elastyczność behawioralna i demografia colobusów zanzibarskich w lasach przybrzeżnych nie objętych ochroną.
